A Status Check on Dermaclear

It has been just about a week since she actually started her new treatment. At our last dermatology appointment in mid-April my daughter agreed that she would finish out her “no treatment” week and then we had to wait for the order of Dermaclear to arrive. I held off on ordering so as she wouldn’t be tempted to opt out of her “no treatment” agreement with the doctor. It seems like it has been awhile since we decided this was going to be her new acne regime, but in reality it has only been a little over a week since she started applying it.

So far so good. Dermaclear is very easy to use and to apply. It is a low maintenance regime which has been great for both of us. I have to say that of all of the treatments we have purchased in the past this one is really an all–in-one formula, just like it advertises. The website does offer extra products like moisturizer and other creams but we decided to start simple.

I ordered two containers of the Dermaclear All-In-One formula to start with. The instructions are so uncomplicated it’s almost unbelievable. She applies it once a day in the morning after washing her face. Following the application of Dermaclear she puts a little bit of moisturizer on the dry skin areas on her upper forehead. The entire process takes under five minutes.

Although the product claims to offer results in a week, we are not seeing anything too significant as of yet. The dermatologist did tell us to be patient. Regardless of what the packaging says, not all results are the same for every person. A week is the best case scenario. Everyone responds differently to products and in some cases some may not respond at all. Unfortunately we take that risk when starting something new.

My daughter still seems hopeful about her skin clearing up. She said that Dermaclear is “really easy.” She claims that she hasn’t forgotten to put in on at all since she started it. While the results are not yet evident, her skin doesn’t look worse and her spirits are up. I am not going to get too caught up in not seeing results yet. If a month goes by and there is no progress I may start getting worried. By then we will have gone back to the doctor so we will be able to get her prognosis on the new treatment.
