Looking into Dermaclear as a Treatment Option

The search for our next acne treatment is on and our next appointment is right around the corner. I do have confidence that our new dermatologist has a few acne treatment options up her sleeve but I just can’t help but do some of my own research on a few products so I can bring some ideas to the table.

I had written myself a note a few weeks back to look into a product called Dermaclear, which is not available over the counter. Dermaclear is an acne treatment product that is available exclusively through the Dermaclear website. It has been around since 1999 and according to the testimonials it appears to have good reviews.

Here are a few of the good points that I noted about the Dermaclear product:

  • Does not contain alcohol perfumes or random or unnecessary ingredients.
  • Will not irritate sensitive or dry skin.
  • Reduces blackheads and minimizes pores.
  • Clears up blemishes.
  • Prevents breakouts.
  • Comes with a money back guarantee.
  • The website is very informative and user friendly.
  • Improvements are seen in less than a week’s time.
  • It is an all-in one-product, minimizing the need to apply several products.
  • It will not interfere with other products such as sunscreen, moisturizer or other cleansers.

The Dermaclear All-In-One Formula is said to be the only product that is necessary to reduce acne and clean skin. Having only one treatment to apply is always a bonus especially for a teenager.  Dermaclear does offer other products that include moisturizer, fade cream and cleaners but these products are optional. According to the website, results can be seen in about a week using only the All-In-One formula. The cost is $16.00 plus shipping costs for a two ounce bottle that will last about 3 weeks with daily application.

We have not had the best of luck with the past treatments we have used. While many of the acne treatments were not damaging to my daughters skin, they were not helpful either. Most products seem to just maintain the status quo. We are hopeful to find something that will work miracles on her skin to rid her of the acne once and for all. Dermaclear definitely sounds like something that is worth trying.
